David is an experienced Chartered Surveyor with specialist knowledge in strategic estate consultancy, estate management, land access rights and renewable energy. 

He joined the Savills Chelmsford office (then FPDSavills) in 2003 where he qualified as a chartered surveyor. He was promoted in 2009 to Associate, specialised in estate management and renewables while also heading up the 'New Ideas Group' for East Anglia. He provided advice and acted on behalf of a large range of private and corporate clients, including Northumbrian Water Ltd whose Abberton reservoir raising scheme was a flagship project for the water industry.

David became a RICS Assessor in 2013 and continues to support graduates through the APC process. He has a 100% success record as a supervisor and counsellor. 

In 2014 the opportunity arose for a move back to Shropshire to join the Telford Office of Savills and to strengthen the estate management team. He became a RICS Registered Valuer in 2015 and undertook a variety of valuations for banks and private clients before joining the Bruton Knowles Shrewsbury team to focus on utility and private client work, valuations and to advise on renewable energy schemes.

He is known for having a considered and friendly approach and for 'outside the box' thinking.

David is a family man who enjoys sports such as cricket, football and badminton. He coaches a local junior rugby team. David relishes a challenge and recently completed a 5K sponsored swim to raise funds for Cancer Research.

In 2019, David and Gareth formed and became Directors of Atchams Ltd.

Gareth has a wealth of experience in Property Valuations, Land Access Rights and Landlord and Tenant matters.

Prior to setting up Atchams he spent 17 years at Bruton Knowles, working across the UK for a range of private landowning clients, local authority and utilities. During his time at the national property consultants, Gareth worked to deliver advice on significant utility infrastructure projects (Rail, Water, Nuclear, Electricity, Roads and Gas); private client property advice, to include Expert Witness; Renewable Energy Developments for both private investors and developers; and, strategic advice to Local Authorities on management and structure of their assets. He has undertaken valuations for a vast number of banks and financial institutions. 

From a farming background, Gareth provides technical advice to all types of property owners and their professional advisors, regardless of scale, and is recognised for his personal approach to problem solving. 

Career highlights include portfolio valuations of wind turbines in Northern Ireland and during his career, he has undertaken valuations of over one billion pounds of rural property. 

Gareth was awarded the Royal Agricultural Society for England (RASE) award for the highest placed candidate in the CAAV Agricultural Valuer Examinations. He is a CAAV Examiner. He is a sessional lecturer at Harper Adams University and is a contributor to the BBC and national press.

In his spare time, he takes part in Triathlons, Field Sports and is a Motorsport Licence Holder, competing across the UK.
